Maybe the Cumberland Gap Swallows You Whole

Four teachers. 140 miles. One van.

Teach. Run. Repeat.

Yesterday, we survived the Great Allegheny Passage Trail relay. It took us just shy of 28 and a half hours of round-the-clock relay racing through rain, winds, and total blackout conditions — but we have some sweet medals to show for it! And it was an absolute blast catching up with these world-class educators for a once-in-a-lifetime trail run through some gorgeous scenery. Enjoy the video highlights above!

Exhausted and humbled by this amazing two-day race experience. Thanks to @erusso78 for convincing me to sign up for this crazy adventure. Kudos to @dereklong929 for pulling the whole thing together. And big ups to @brice78 for his monster effort to bring us across the finish line with style.

Note to self for next time: more training.
