Season 3, Episode 60: On Faith and Friendship

Sad news this week, as a dear friend and mentor of mine Rev. Brad Heckathorne, OFM Conv. passed away last week following complications from surgery unrelated to COVID-19. This week’s podcast takes a closer look at this man’s life and legacy, and the incredible example that so many great teachers can provide to their students and those that they serve. It’s a change of pace from our usual routine and a bit longer than our regular episodes, but it’s also one of the most personal and heartfelt episodes I’ve ever recorded. I am proud to remember my friend through this small tribute. Thanks for listening.

Recorded in bumper-to-bumper traffic to and from my daily work as a high school instructional coach just outside of Washington D.C., Talk to Mee in the Car is where a brainstorm and a good old-fashioned brain dump collide to help educators hone their skills and become leaner, meaner, 21st century teaching machines. Join me for a quick hitting 11(ish) minute episode every Monday for tips, tricks, and strategies to change the game in your classroom TODAY with high-energy, student-centered teaching that actually works.

Because one size fits all professional development simply doesn’t.
