Season 3, Episode 64: That Back to School Spirit

Let’s face it, gang. Capturing the same spirit of a physical classroom can be an absolute NIGHTMARE when talking into a one-dimensional monitor to a room full of blank stares and muted microphones. But this doesn’t have to kill our momentum as we make our way back into the (virtual) classroom with a new group of students for the start of the new school year! This week’s episode is dedicated to a few things to keep in mind as we make those all important first impressions with our latest group of learners of any age. OH YEAH! And there’s an #EDrenaline Rush book study that starts next week that we’d love to have you come join!

Recorded in bumper-to-bumper traffic to and from my daily work as a high school instructional coach just outside of Washington D.C., Talk to Mee in the Car is where a brainstorm and a good old-fashioned brain dump collide to help educators hone their skills and become leaner, meaner, 21st century teaching machines. Join me for a quick hitting 11(ish) minute episode every Monday for tips, tricks, and strategies to change the game in your classroom TODAY with high-energy, student-centered teaching that actually works.

Because one size fits all professional development simply doesn’t.
