Dear John,

Congratulations! Your session proposal titled Beyond Kahoot: Fully Gamified Instruction For Any Content or Grade Level has been selected for presentation at the VASCD 2018 Annual Conference!  You will be part of an outstanding lineup of practitioners and thought leaders who have innovative and valuable ideas to share.

We will be in touch with you several more times before the conference. In late September we will launch our conference mobile app. You will receive directions for downloading the app and creating a profile so that you may take full advantage of the opportunity to share information related to your session and to network with fellow attendees.

By October 10, we will let you know the time slot in which your session is scheduled and the room where it will be located. Also in October, we will send you a reminder to submit handouts, slides, or links related to your presentation. These will be due by November 1 for posting in the app.

We plan to host a series of twitter chats this fall related to our conference theme- we will let you know when they are scheduled and we hope you will participate! Connecting with attendees ahead of time through chats and the conference app will help to build interest in your session!

We are excited about this year’s conference and look forward to your contribution to a terrific learning experience and networking opportunity.

Sincerely,

Julie Myers, Conference Chair
