Sometimes, the job is just too big for any one teacher to handle. And so this year for the kickoff of Bishop O’Connell High School’s full-day faculty and staff PD training, we decided to assemble a super team of educational Avengers! Following a dastardly internet outage, our day started with an epic call to arms.
From there, teachers were greeted by an assembled squadron of school administrators and educator superheroes, including yours truly as Captain America, my amazing colleague and co-planner Siobhan Dannaher as The Scarlet Witch, two teacher volunteers as Iron Man and The Black Widow, our principal as Nick Fury, and our assistant principals as Captain Marvel, Thor, The Hulk, and Groot.
