A Bonus Offer From The Pirate Captain!

An exciting and time-sensitive guest post, reblogged courtesy of The Pirate Captain himself, Dave Burgess!

Take it away, Dave!

Hey! Just a super quick and time-sensitive post to let you know about an incredible new book and special pre-release bonus package you don’t want to miss out on.

We are releasing EDrenaline Rush: Game-changing Student Engagement Inspired by Theme Parks, Mud Runs, & Escape Rooms by John Meehan on Sunday, June 16th and…WOW!! It is a practical, power-packed, and incredible take on how to really ramp up the fun and engagement in your curriculum.

Quoting from John’s website,
“What if going to school captured the thrills and excitement of an amusement park?

Could classroom activities elicit the same sense of exhilaration you feel when charging the hill in a mud run?

And how much more engaged would our students be if a curriculum was filled with the same mystery and mastery you’d expect from a twisting escape room of puzzles and surprises?

Packed with lesson planning tips, instructional design ideas, and plug-and-play teaching resources, EDrenaline Rush challenges teachers to think differently and push their pedagogy to incredible limits, creating classrooms where students willingly step outside of their comfort zones and boldly dare to attempt the impossible.”

Yeah…if you have been a fan of our student engagement books such as Teach Like a PIRATE, here is another must-read to add to your collection.

How could this get better? Well, it gets WAY better!

John has pulled together a bonus package that includes 40+ #QRBreakIN templates(these are breakout game templates you can immediately adapt to your class), A full-blown #QRBreakIN book study game, a sample digital escape room, and LIFETIME access to more incredible creations that will be added to the folder as they are developed.

This is completely FREE to anyone who purchases this by Saturday, June 22nd!!! This offer was going to end this weekend on the 16th with the book release…but there was a small glitch in the Google Form and plus end of the school year is crazy as far as checking emails, so I have convinced John to extend it to June 22nd.

Order John’s book RIGHT HERE.
Then go to THIS GOOGLE FORM RIGHT HERE to enter your information for free access.

I can’t wait to see how you are going to incorporate these ideas in your classroom!! Be sure to connect in the #EDrenaline hashtag on social media if you get the book!

PS: Remember…the bonus package from John (with all of the pre-made templates) is time sensitive. Order EDrenaline Rush HERE and then go HERE to get free access.

PSS: Special thanks to Kids Deserve It co-author and Run Like a PIRATE author, Adam Welcome, for contributing the foreword to this book! Adam always inspires!

  1. Hi John,

thanks a lot for this great opportunity. I got the book this morning and am excited to start reading.
I also applied for the freebie, with the amazon order code and the from filled in, but my email folders are all empty at this point. (Also spam folder)

Could you check this issue and let me know if there is anything I should do.
Maybe I am just not patient enough, and I appologize if that is the case, but if I don’t contact you now, I am afraid I will forget because I my head has little space for extras to remember this month.

Thank you very much for your work and everything,

    1. Not a problem Margit! I’m personally sending the bonus content out one email at a time (probably should have figured out some sort of automated system, but here we are) — so you should get everything shortly. Please let me know if you still haven’t received it by 9 am today! Thanks so much and I hope you absolutely love the book!!
